Transfer customer history

When to use this procedure
Follow the steps below to transfer an entire customer history from one account to another.
Yesterday you ran the Duplicate Customers report and have identified several sets of duplicate customer records. You now want to merge these records so that each customer has only one associated account. To do so, complete the following steps.
Steps to complete
- On the Modules menu, point to Customer and select Transfer History. The Transfer Customer History window displays.
- Click From Account. The Pick Customer window displays.
- Search for and select a customer. The Transfer Customer History window redisplays and the customer account name is added.
- Click To Account. The Pick Customer window displays.
- Search for and select a customer. The Transfer Customer History window redisplays and the customer account name is added.
- Select Delete From Account to automatically remove the duplicate (from) account from AIMsi.
- Click Save.
